This year’s Gutterthon was challenging. We had to move to a new fundraising platform and that took so long, we ended up launching in early December with and end date of Jan. 9 to try to avoid the holiday lull as best we could. This is also the first year that we did almost all our fundraising on Bluesky and it was incredibly successful! Because, behold, we are done and slightly over our goal thanks to your generosity.
We’re leaving the campaign up for another week in case you planned to contribute or had your eye on the SW Stitchery’s Lil Felt Devil, the hat made by Huge Shark or something else. Gutterthon itself is pretty bare bones. We ask for the bare minimum, so any additional funds will likely go to shipping perks, making any print on demand perks, and then if we cover all that, we’ll use it to pay the writers a little more. Check out the campaign here.
Thank you so much everyone who has contributed, donated perks, donated art, shared our campaign and all you people who were rooting for us even though you couldn’t contribute this year! And a special thank to you Brian Kirby for creating the art for Gutterthon and helping out with the old timey baseball patter in our campaign pitch.
