the idea had never crossed my mind, but you’re absolutely right. Despite all the resitance that there would be to a female Dr Who, who could argue with Helen Mirren in the role? My wife and I are currrently working through the Prime Suspect series. Ms Mirren could play just about ANYTHING, I suspect ….
