“Following her exposure as Pauline Parker, Hilary Nathan decided to move from the village of Hoo to avoid further media attention. Her home was purchased by Andrew Ayres and his wife. The sale was set to be finalized on June 27 as Heavenly Creatures was going to be shown on television across Britain and Hilary wanted to be out of the village before then. In the upstairs bedroom of Nathan’s home the Ayres made an interesting discovery: a large mural, painted by Hilary Nathan.”
