In Black Panther, Killmonger and Klaw are defeated, and the crowd looked happy as it streamed out of the theater. But in the days that followed, I kept returning to that last line – the defiant anger that felt so familiar. It lingered in my mind. I saw the memes and tumblr posts quoting the line springing up over the weeks that followed. I realized that I wasn’t the only one.”
