Jane Curtin talks about improv, Saturday Night Live, sit-coms and Can You Ever Forgive Me? (2019) at The New Yorker. “I loved doing improv, and I was really good at it. I would come from an area that nobody else would come from. One of the things that I didn’t like about it was that I didn’t know how to turn it off—the free-flowing things that are going on in your head. You need an editor if you’re going to be out in polite society. I would just become the most obnoxious person in the world.”
