The Cultural Gutter 2021
We’re making some changes at the Cultural Gutter. The Gutter’s own Keith Allison is moving on, but will remain SF/F Editor Emeritus here and in our hearts. And after almost 18 years of the same format, we are letting the Editors loose from their domains. We are still dedicated to thoughtful writing about disreputable art, but we are doing away with domains and letting any Gutter editor write thoughtfully about any disreputable art. So look forward to new slants on science fiction, fantasy, comics, movies, tv, videogames, horror, romance and who knows what else!

Carol Borden was editor of and a writer for the Toronto International Film Festival’s official Midnight Madness and Vanguard program blogs. She is currently an editor at and evil overlord for The Cultural Gutter, a website dedicated to thoughtful writing about disreputable art. She has written for Mezzanotte, Teleport City, Die Danger Die Die Kill, Popshifter and she has a bunch of short stories published by Fox Spirit Books including: Godzilla detective fiction, femme fatale mermaids, an adventurous translator/poet, and an x-ray tech having a bad day.
