Did she push him, did he commit suicide, or did he simply fall while doing repairs? It’s a thinker of a flick. Had me Googling things like ‘French court hearsay fine?’ and ‘HIPAA France can therapists testify?’ The film hangs on the unknowability of the the truth. There is never a clear explanation, and the characters have to find their own peace without the closure that answers provide.
