Friend of the Gutter Weltraumbesty has been creating subtitles for the Showa Daiei Gamera movies. “My project is quite simple, albeit a lot of work; to create new subtitle translations in English from the (mostly) complete Japanese language SDH subtitle scripts included with the latest video releases. While my hope is to eventually translate all of the Showa-era Gamera films, at present this project is limited by necessity to the first three films: Giant Monster Gamera, Giant Monster Duel: Gamera vs. Barugon and Giant Monster Dogfight: Gamera vs. Gyaos.”
