And in Camp, they capture the feeling of spaces created by groups of “gorgeous weirdos” finding each other for the first time. At the camp, after lights out, they create rituals that bring them together and help them find themselves and their power. At first, these rituals seem like a game—like dabbling with Ouija boards or pendulums. They send intentions out into the universe. But the universe or the forest or something seems to hear them and to become more present for them.”
